The cabin sleeps six guests comfortably and can accommodate up to eight, across three bedrooms.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor; the other two are upstairs.

The downstairs bedroom has one double bed. The first upstairs bedroom has a bunk bed and a double bed. We are confirming the exact bed configuration in the third bedroom and have not stated it rather than guess — please ask us before booking if the precise arrangement matters for your group, and we will tell you exactly what is in there.

Yes. One of the three bedrooms is on the ground floor and has a double bed. It can be reached without using the internal staircase.

The cabin is entirely yours. It sits on private land with its own entrance. No other guests have access to the cabin, the sauna, the hot tub, the terrace or any part of the property during your stay.

Yes — a private, traditional Finnish sauna, for your group alone. It is a real Finnish sauna rather than a steam room or a spa cabin, with the option to pour water on the stones (löyly). There is no booking system and no time limit: heat it whenever you want it. A Finnish sauna typically takes 30 to 45 minutes to come up to temperature.

Yes. The cabin has a Drop Spa outdoor hot tub on the terrace, facing the forest. It is heated and built to be used in all weather, including the depths of a Lapland winter.

Yes. The wood-burning stove sits at the centre of the main living area and is there to be used. Birch firewood is provided, and we will show you how to light and maintain it when you arrive.

The cabin is 16 km from Kittilä Airport — approximately 15 to 20 minutes by car. Kittilä is the nearest airport and receives direct flights from several UK and European cities during the winter season.

There are two ways. A ski bus stop sits at the end of the cabin's garden — the R1 service, Stop 12: Ounasranta — running every 30 minutes between 09:00 and 19:00. Alternatively, the ski area is roughly a ten-minute walk from the cabin.

The ski bus stops at the end of the garden. The R1 service calls at Stop 12: Ounasranta every 30 minutes between 09:00 and 19:00, with connections to the rest of the resort via the R2 service at Zero Point (South Point). With skis, boots and children, a bus stop at the end of your own garden is worth more than it sounds.

No. The cabin is close to the ski area — about a ten-minute walk, with a ski bus stop at the end of the garden — but you cannot ski directly to or from the door, and we will not claim otherwise.

Yes. Private, off-road parking for two vehicles directly at the cabin, at no extra charge. An engine block heater is fitted, which matters in a Lapland winter: a car left out overnight below −20°C may not start without one.

Not necessarily. The ski bus from the end of the garden covers the resort, and taxis and transfers run from Kittilä Airport and Levi village. A car gives you more freedom for day trips and the supermarket run, but plenty of guests manage without one.

Yes. There is a dedicated play corner, three bedrooms so children can have a room of their own, and private, traffic-free land around the cabin. Levi's family activities — skiing, reindeer, snowshoeing — are all close by.

Yes. The open-plan living and dining area is built around a group eating and spending evenings together, and the three bedrooms give everyone somewhere private to retreat to. The cabin takes up to eight guests. Parties and events are not permitted.

Partly, and we would rather be specific than reassuring. There is a bedroom and living space on the ground floor, reachable without using the internal staircase; the other two bedrooms are upstairs. We have not yet measured door widths, entrance steps, the parking-to-entrance route or the bathroom layouts, so we do not describe the cabin as wheelchair accessible or fully accessible. If accessibility matters for your stay, email us and we will go and measure whatever you need to know before you book.

Often, but nobody can promise it. The cabin sits in private forest with no light pollution and an open sky, which gives genuinely good conditions between late September and March. Whether the aurora actually appears depends on solar activity and cloud cover, and neither we nor anyone else can control those. Be sceptical of anyone who guarantees them.

It depends what you want. November to March gives you snow, skiing and the Northern Lights season, and is the busiest and most expensive period. Summer brings the midnight sun and a completely different cabin — the same forest, lit around the clock. Spring and autumn are the quietest and the best value.

In winter, layer properly: thermal base layers, a warm mid-layer, a genuinely windproof and waterproof outer layer, insulated boots, and a hat, gloves and scarf you can afford to get wet. Temperatures regularly sit below −20°C. Bring swimwear for the hot tub, and something you can walk out to it in.

There is no platform service charge and no OTA commission added on top, so the price you see is the price you pay. Your questions also go straight to Colin and Livia, who live in Levi and host the cabin themselves, rather than into a messaging system.

Yes — high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the cabin, reliable enough for streaming and video calls. There is a quiet office corner for anyone who needs to work during their stay.
