Privacy Policy
What this website does with your data. The short version: almost nothing.
This website has no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. It sets no cookies of its own, and it has no login, no database and no forms.
What we collect
Through this website, nothing. It is a set of static pages. We do not measure your visit, we do not know that you were here, and there is nowhere for us to store anything about you even if we wanted to.
If you email us, we have your email address and whatever you write in it. We use that to answer you and to arrange your stay, and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not pass your details on.
Third parties on this site
There are three, and each loads only on the page that needs it.
- Hostaway — the booking calendar on the Availability page, and the checkout it hands you to. When you book, your booking and payment details are handled by Hostaway under their own privacy policy and terms. Card details are entered on their secure checkout and never pass through this website.
- OpenStreetMap — the map on the Location page is an embedded frame served by OpenStreetMap. We chose it over Google Maps precisely because it needs no tracking cookie and no consent banner. Opening that page does mean your browser makes a request to their servers.
- Cloudflare Stream— the short video on the home page is hosted and streamed by Cloudflare Stream. Opening the home page makes a request to their servers to load the video, and their player may set cookies or collect playback data under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy. The video is muted and carries no advertising.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice that means the emails you have sent us and your booking record. Email us and we will do it.
